Young Franchisee is Awarded for Accomplishments in a Saturated Market
Saskatoon SK - April 12, 2005
The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), Canada's leading organization dedicated to the success of young entrepreneurs, is pleased to announce the 2005 Saskatchewan Best Business award recipient - Matthew Anger of MDG Computers in Saskatoon.
Launched in February 2004 with assistance from CYBF, MDG Computers is a one-stop computer store offering; in store demos of computer systems, local presence of people who have lived in the community, immediate delivery of computer systems, flexible payment options and pure value of top brand name components in all systems.
A new franchise to Saskatchewan, Anger has spent the last year with the majority of his focus on Service first, and branding themselves as the best choice in computing needs.
"I owe CYBF the world for taking a chance on my business plan, comments Anger. Without their involvement financially and the assistance I have received from my mentor, Shannon Briske, my business would not exist."
Ten provincial award recipients will vie for the national Best Business award, which carries a cash prize of $20,000. The announcement will be made live at the annual CYBF Young Entrepreneur Awards Gala on May 24, 2005 at the Westin Harbour Castle hotel in Toronto.
"For the first time CYBF is showcasing ten provincial Best Business recipients - presenting the true diversity of youth entrepreneurship across Canada, comments CYBF CEO Vivian Woytiuk. As a national organization with our offer available coast-to-coast, it is important for CYBF to acknowledge these businesses and to provide an opportunity for Canadians to see the talent this country can produce with the right focus. We are supporting the next generation of business leaders by helping youth help themselves."
